Concealed in the 8th century at the height of the Tibetan Dharma empire by the wisdom dakini Yeshe Tsogyal and later revealed from the Crystal Rock Cave of Sheldrak by the great treasure revealer Tertön Orgyen Lingpa (terma revelation 1258) (1323–1360), the Pema Kathang contains 108 cantos detailing the twelve deeds of the Guru of Oddiyana.
