구루 파드마삼바바의 생애와 원만한 해탈 사업 — 존귀하신 켄 소남 린포체의 지도 아래
༺ ORAL TRANSMISSION & TEACHINGS ༻
In the sacred Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, the པདྨ་བཀའ་ཐང་། (Pema Kathang — The Lotus-Born Chronicle) stands as the supreme authentic testament to the life, miracles, and indestructible enlightened activity of the Second Buddha, 구루 파드마삼바바 (Guru Rinpoche). Under the sublime spiritual guidance of H.E. Khenpo Sonam Rinpoche, Dzogchen House cordially convenes this weekly online study and oral transmission cycle (གཏེར་མ་ terma transmission), opening the treasury of primordial wisdom to dedicated practitioners worldwide.
Concealed in the 8th century at the height of the Tibetan Dharma empire by the wisdom dakini Yeshe Tsogyal and later revealed from the Crystal Rock Cave of Sheldrak by the great treasure revealer Tertön Orgyen Lingpa (terma revelation 1258) (1323–1360), the Pema Kathang contains 108 cantos detailing the twelve deeds of the Guru of Oddiyana. Receiving the authentic oral transmission (ལུང་ lung) connects the disciple's mindstream directly with the uncorrupted lineage blessings of the Lotus-Born Master.
Through systematic weekly commentary (ཁྲིད་ tri), H.E. Khenpo Sonam Rinpoche will expound the profound esoteric meanings veiled within each chapter: from Guru Rinpoche's immaculate birth from a multi-colored lotus in Lake Danakosha, his mastery of the Eight Great Charnel Grounds, to his subjugation of visible and invisible obstacles across Tibet and the concealment of earth and mind treasures for future generations.
In these challenging times, invocation of 구루 파드마삼바바 is praised by all omniscient masters as the swiftest path to dispel outer, inner, and secret adversities. Participation in this holy study circle nurtures unwavering devotion, clears karmic obscurations, and plants the definitive seed for the realization of the Great Perfection (Dzogchen).
